Where one takes pride...

... in being blind to what he is.

Some probably already know about a discussion on another CMS forum about why to use X instead of Y. While there was right and wrong facts in the initial post, the overall thread didn't kept the promise to stay objective, to stay in the line of a decent, professional and cheerful discussion (or at least without a lower degree of selfish and insulting comments)... both from the author of the thread and some of the others.

Not that it was not expected though...

Anyway...

Yours truly even thought that even if I don't go head first with the big mouth I have, I could drop a note to say that this kind of speech is not necessarily needed to make a point... whatever the point is.

With all due respect that I don't have... or lost... or... whatever, when you are at the point that you can't even see the reason someone could stop by and say "mmm maybe it is not necessary to insult people and telling them they are liars, stupids, hypocrits" and such like these while it is written black on ... light blue onpage up... (those were the words the author used but he won't even admit it... go figure).

What can we call that? (Should we give an unsulting adjective, should we use cute little citations for this guy who think that I must prove something he said 10 posts earlier ?)

Is it worth it ? THAT would be the best question.

I never felt the need to justify what I've said on this forum (and I will never do against somone like him... pffiouu what a mess it would be) as I don't care about some dude like him that I was (did I ?) respecting in the past.

He wanted me to justify and show him as if I were his Dada where he was insulting another one... I feel like a father who must resolve a 1+1 for his child who knows how to do 9x9.

He really should be able to see it by himself.

Now to conclude, to all of you, if you don't like someone, or a thing... get over it. Don't fall to the point your own words goes beyond your understanding of what you are saying.

Or you could become like this guy I'm talking about... asking others to show him what he wrote.

If he ain't seeing it himself... he's lost.

Walk away... As you would not help yourself trying to help him!

Have fun all...

P.S. : I might edit this one as I always take great pleasure to add a tweak or 2 sometimes...
