There is no special zip for the userHack on 0.750... you install it and pray.
To test the 0.8 CVS, see the cvs guide here : http://docs.postnuke.com/index.php?module=Static_Docs&func=view&f=/cvsaccess.htm
A very small part of the userhack is in it but there is still lot of work to do so there is not much comparison to do.
Remember that this codebase (0.8 ) is far from unfinished and is unusable on a real website.

For the moment, the DynamicUserData module use selective template depending on the type of field like select, radio... The dynamic field administration is done for that part...
single Select, radio, text and textarea are working fine, radio and others are untested for the moment but I could be wrong... maybe that is also done.
Some options are not yet in the user config (mail options for example).
etc,etc,etc,etc...

That is unknown... time is a relative value in this domain. |

Is correct, time became precious.
I tested pn 0.8 and have determined it nearly finished am to usable on a real website.
But the DynamicUserData module like you also says shows in user register select, radio field not correctly, also Group fields is not indicated.
Whole structure of pn 0.8 became now better and like CMS e-xoops.
Therefore I thank you as postnuke user and also different developer.
Do you know when approximately pn 0.8 will be usable on a real website? |

That is my sole opinion or interpretation of how the work is going :
I think we'll maybe be able to release some RCs around Christmas.
But I don't plan any final release before March.
Like I said, That is my estimation. |

That would be a great Christmas present, but I won't hold my breath. I know it's alot of work and I appreciate all the work going into it. |
