Chestnut,
From looking around at numerous forums (here, postnuke, etc) one item that I see that a lot of members and users would like is the ability to easily allow users to upload a photo to their profile.
It think it would be similar to the addin that Magic did, but perhaps a plugin for advProfile instead?
I have seen many many posts and requests for this ability, but without the price tag and poor support that people have received on the one addin that is out there.

As I've said in another post, the advProfile is complete in a way. It is a display mod and has no ambition to provide more than that.

The goal was to give you the power to show anything you want from either PN or from another source.

I know it's not much but the reason was mostly to keep it ultra simple.

As for a 0.8 addin... I doubt it'll happen as I doubt a Picture upload thingy will cross the third party barrier. The 0.8 will be released as a lean and epurate system without much of this kind of addons that will either be release separatly or coming from somewhere else.
