pncUserpoints & pnAffiliate modules would be perfect fit

pncUserpoints & pnAffiliate modules would be perfect fit if we could modify the pnAffiliate to register points in the pncUserpoints module at the same time the new users registration credits/adds them into the referers downline of the pnAffilaite module.

The idea I guess would be to have a plugin of some kind that will add the right tables for the credit of new user referals after registration of the new user.

My question Chestnut is this.... Would I have the plugin check some table in the pnAffiliate for all users in the downline of the user as that is when we want to give them points for their referal?

If we can have a pncUP plugin do this then we wouldn't need to modify the pnAffiliate right?

The pnAffiliate does keep track of referals or click throughs to the site from a user but I think that would lead to cheating as they could inflate their points by clicking o­n their own links unless you know of an idea that you could maybe suggest to prevent cheating of this kind. Otherwise credit for actual user signups I think is the best way to award points.

What are your thoughts?

another concept of a rewards module would be to check the users total points at the time they navigate to the rewards module. If the users points are within certain point levels then they get added into another group.

This group would have a reward block or any block set to work for that group that has links or other bonuses available for them to collect for reaching that userpoints level.

you can actually set up reward specific group levels that are for use with the blocks o­nly.

Or we could have a rewards block that will display each link when they reach that level. these links take them to that groups bonuses page in the rewards module.

We could have a bronze, silver, and gold level and as they reach each level another link displays in the rewards block for the next level. if they meet all levels point requirement then all three links would display for them.

I will look into it further. I may go ahead and hire someone to build this for me.....

If anyone is interested in a rewards module as I am explaining, please add your suggestions here as I will most likely get this started real soon.

I need everyones feature suggestions so I can have the developer look at the features we want.

pncUserPoints pnTresmailer plugin

Don't confuse this with a tresmailer plugin to show pncUserpoints data......

I am asking about a pncUserpoints plugin to credit users for subscribing to the tresmailer module o­ne time within a period of time.... Like a 6month period.....

Also a user would get points for viewing/reading a tresmailer email o­nce per email that is sent......

Maybe if we can't have an automated way to determine someone reading their email or viewing the email, a link they can click o­nce to collect their points for recieving and viewing the email newsletter. If they try to collect points again it will not allow them to......

Anyone like to add to this idea?
