I will probably always be the first to admit that I can't do much about design... even more about flash design. The pncChat use the old PhatChat flash movie and... well... I may not be the best in good taste but a little work o­n the look wouldn't be a bad thing.

There are also problems with special characters, signs, etc... Smileys won't work in the current movie state cause images aren't implement, etc... etc... etc...

So what ? Well... if someone has any skill in working with Flash, have a seat so we can work together o­n this o­ne.

The basics are there, it works. So what we need is a good template and some fix in the flash thing.

One note though... it must be open. I want it that way cause I want people to be able to change the style, the design. Just like I began to do with my last modules. I give templates not because they are looking good (urk) but because I want you to make them look good.

Anyway... the php and mysql parts are working... even with anonymous... there is still things to do of course but at least we have a start. So if we could get a nice looking flash interface...

I made some tests with the EliteWeaver testing system and I think I'm not far from a v1.0. So expect it inside a week or 2. If you are game, when I'll say "GO", you can test my paypal button... I will refund anyone doing for testing. But o­nly when I'll say "GO"...

Although it's not a very very hard thing to do, there is some concept difficulties to provide an administration for plugins. So the next release, I'm thinking about doing something like the pn0.750 or pn0.8 is doing : o­ne or 2 fields where you can put arguments.

What I mean by that is... take a group register plugin for example, o­n the admin page, you'll have :
plugin : groupregister
value : 5

When the plugin goes into action, the plugin registers the user to group 5.
I'm still o­n it anyway so expect more news soon.

One last thing...

I probably already said that many times in the past... And I have the feeling I'll say it many times again in the future. I'm very sorry I don't do things faster or if I seem to do something completly out of the plans (like the pncBotList for example). My job is taking me so much time that it's hard when I get home not to fell o­n the couch, snozing, and being woke up at 2am by the cat trying to do a lifting o­n my face cause he's hungry. Or having the lady call and say : "WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU ???".

Don't you love these situations ?

So I apologize for the time I take for everything... Some will say : "What are you talking about ? you don't have to apologize !" but let's face it... some will think : "Grumpff, what the hell is he doing ?".

So anyway... Wish you all a nice summer... and don't forget to do backups. Ha ha ha !
