Here the story: fresh install of postnuke 800 (took from the devel-dayly build-ressoruce: this version installes only 31 tables - is this all right!?
no bughere`!?
another thing:; installed fresb 762 (750) - this version does not work on
my mysql server 5.0xx.
the manually inserted db-dump has two kinds of tables;:
1. mysql
2. inno
is this a bug or a feature

I can't fix what I don't know about. When submitting or referring a bug, please give more information about it. Otherwise, it's like saying: "It doesn't work but I won't tell what the 'it' is.".
Man comon... throw away that attitude... it won't help my mood.
Yes... if you chose the basic installation.
PostNuke won't work on MySQL 5.x STRICT MODE. With the Strict Mode off, many people succesfully installed PostNuke on MySQL 5 without problems.
Dunno about that but... Is everything a bug for you ?!?

While I do of course some support here, the official forums are the place to get all the help you need concerning general pn stuff.
Oh and by the way... Ossame is (most probably) dead whatever you see on TV...

well i have to set the mode on the mysql-db. Then i will try to install version 762 again.
I was not able to install the thing.
eihter - to install the db tables manually
This endet up with the installing of exactly 31 Tables. The mod_var tables had some issues - or in other words caused same conflicts and errors. I can send in the error log in the next posting.
When i tried to install the Version 762 automatically - That is with the installer-script, then it gave back serious issues - like the following.
1.- could not connect to the databae
2.- not able to proceed the queurey
so chestnut i will try to set up the mysqlDB correctly and then i try to install the biest again
