Hi Chestnut, first of all i like to thank you for this great modul - it's very usefull! But now i'm looking for a solution to call GoogleMap in a way so it will display a special location with a given zoom. Is there a way to place this information as parm in the url i.e. as marker-id plus zoom or long/lat plus zoom instead of pointing to the default view? Background is that our club has a garage and an airfield and both are hard to find and i like to show them the location with a link. Shure, i can call a point in the middle with a lower zoom but than the two markers are hard to find. Do you, or anybody else here, have any suggestion to solve this? Thanks a lot and greetings from Hamburg, Lena. |

Hi Chestnut, ones again i'm looking for a solution for this problem. Have you ever tried the link you have posted before? For me it allways starts at the default location and it looks like there is no way to pass args in this way. Any suggestion? Greetings Lena |

Hi Lena, I have no problem with this kind of link: http://dev.pnconcept.com/index.php?module=GoogleMap&latitude=53.59029511648&longitude=10.1831459999&zoom=17 As you can see, it should point straight to your location. But you're indeed right that there is no parameter to put a marker live passed from the url. Chestnut ! ![]() Site Admin |

Hi Chestnut, that's strange. It works as expected at your site - that's exactly what i'm looking for, but if i trie the same on my site i get the default view. If you like to see: http://wmf.lm-publishing.de/index.php?module=GoogleMap&latitude=53.59029511648&longitude=10.1831459999&zoom=17 It looks like we are both using GM 2,0 but in your Credits i can see a little difference in the descreption. Is your version a bit patched somewhere? It would be nice to find a solution for this, because it makes GM much more usefull. Greetings from Hamburg, Lena. |
