EZComment plugin with AdvProfile, issue | |

Hi, great work with all the modules around, I have a tiny issue with the EZComments plugin, some profile doesnt show the last 10 comments, although these user DO have comments while it shows correctly for others Im not sure what's the problem, I have the plugin from the Downloads in this website, not sure whether its a bug or its me. Please advise? |

Some profile ? Could be a caching issue... Try the same profiles but with the pnRender option to force compilation. Chestnut !  Site Admin |

ok im using AutoTheme, but with cache disabled for Advprofile and pnRender cache is disabled as well with force compilation on. I've also tested it with Extralite theme, still having the same issue, some users do show comments and others dont |

I don't see much reasons at the moment as there is not even a permission check. I would try to browse to a user not having comments displayed, clear the cache and compile folder and reload the page to see if there is comments showing up after that. Chestnut ! Site Admin |

ok, i rechecked and found out that EZcomments plugin doesnt work at all. The comments shown for some people are actually the one form the old comments module, as I had this in the template: I removed the first line, and only kept this: and it doesnt show any comment for any user, I downloaded the plugin from the downloads in hereand placed the files advProfile_plugin_last10ezcom.tpl in the pntemplates/default and the function.last10ezcom.php in the pntemplates/plugins not sure whats wrong in here  |

sorry for double posting I figured out the problem, the plugin dosnt retrieve any comment has not subject. it only retrieves comments with subjects, for those which has empty subjects, it ignore them. Still not sure how to fix this |

Are you sure we are talking about the same plugin ? From what I see in the code, there is nothing related to title. It gets the objectid, the url, the date and the comment. The comment is stripped of any html and the added to the result. If it is the old comments, then it's not the right plugin. Chestnut ! Site Admin |

yeah im very sure it is the EZComment and yeah you're correct there's nothing about the title in the plugin, I've checked, which is super weird! |
